Originally from England, Stephen spent most of his years growing up in the natural surroundings of the woodlands. This gave Stephen a deep appreciation for nature. Inspired by the textures and tones of his surroundings, Stephen began his art practice with this in mind.

With extensive training as a solid plasterer in England, Stephen’s background in Venetian plastering of over 20 years was used to inform his artistic practice. Without these base fundamentals and skills, his exploration and journey wouldn’t have come to fruition.
